1: Place of Work
– All are working with a hybrid model; testing and vaccinations not mandated
– Positives –flexibility; productivity for customer-facing roles
– Negatives – lower development productivity; younger staff impact; Talent poaching increasing
– Solutions – regular team building activities; uprating benefits inc. travel costs; ensuring EX (see below) is positive

2: EX – Employee Experience
– Greater employee experience = measurable business success, all agreed
– Having an Uplifting Purpose is vital i.e. ‘more money for the owners’ is not inspiring whereas ‘Growing Global Champions’ is (ScaleUp Group’s one!) for example.
